Seaside Hurricanes have already wiped out most of the '06 school year! However, we still have a lot of exciting material
to cover. This website is set aside for Second Grade Hurricanes only! It highlights some of our previous lessons and activities,
has information on the material we are currently covering, and lets you in on our future plans!
Right now, we are featuring "The World As We Know It..."
Rationale: Our world is moving faster, going further, and getting much much bigger! Sometimes it is easy to overlook
some of the "revolutionary" inventions that got us to this point. Even so, we still have a lot of problems in our
world. This lesson plan will not only help students to realize their own potential to impact the world, but will give them
the chance to work with other students to design and present their very own "World Shaking" invention!
